What about required equipment?

All technical climbing equipment will be provided by your guiding service. However, if you have your own gear, feel free to bring it. You’ll need: Helmet Harness with a locking carabiner, belay device, and chalk bag Ropes Rock shoes Climbing hardware (quickdraws, cam devices, stoppers, etc.) Here’s a list of the equipment we suggest you bring: Day pack large enough to carry all the items listed (around a 40L bag) Mountain/hiking boots or trail shoes, sports shoes Waterproof jacket Water bottle with 1,5L of water Food you can eat on-the-go Toiletries (sunscreen, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.) Lip balm Sun hat Sport sunglasses Mobile phone Passport/identification documents Camera — optional Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. Costs per person decrease as the group grows for private tours, so it’s the perfect opportunity to climb with friends and family. Climbing days in La Pedriza can be arranged for bigger groups. Minors as young as 6 may be permitted to climb on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian. Getting there and meeting location

To get to La Pedriza, most people fly into Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas International Airport 1 hour away from La Pedriza. From there, you can rent a car or take a taxi to your accommodation or the meeting point. Rock Climbing at La Pedriza National Park

We were in Madrid for only a week and wanted to go climbing. Our trip far exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for better weather (in February!!) or a better guide. Edu was very knowledgeable of the place and took us to a wall that was perfect for all four of us (two adults, two kids ages 8 & 9), not far from El Yelmo. All we brought were our shoes; Dreampeaks provided all the gear. The granite was beautiful to touch, and the views were fabulous. Deampeaks also arranged our ride to the park, which was awesome. Thanks, Gabriel, for making this possible!

Awesome day of climbing with 3 kids!

We were looking for a little outdoor adventure for our kids near Madrid. We are a family who just moved here from Colorado. Gabriel was great to communicate with and the booking process was very easy and fast. We were picked up at our apartment on time and had a short drive to the climbing area where we met up with another family and 2 guides. The guides were great and set up 4 different top rope climbs of varying levels, so there was something for everyone! We will definitely be booking another adventure with Dreampeaks and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun outdoor experience!
