There are incredible options for the less experienced in Norway, but due to the difficulty, you’ll need to be a seasoned long-distance hiker or at an excellent level of physical fitness. If you can walk for four to six hours with a little more change in elevation, you are good to go. Hikes require a high level of fitness, hiking anywhere between eight to ten miles per day. The entire round trip trail is 28-kilometer (17 miles) and will take you 800 meters up in the mountains. Any ounce of outdoor hiking experience will be of great value on Trolltunga’s slippery rocks. Keep in mind, the weather in summer can be very hot and you’ll also be packing a daypack filled with water and other things you’ll need throughout the day.

It was a fantastic and unforgettable trip to Trolltunga with the Trolltunga Adventures team.
This trip was not as difficult as I expected, because we were led by the experienced guides Stian and Sondre. Stian is knowledgeable and capable, both of them are kind and thoughtful, very pleasant guides. We could just follow them and feel safe.
We had Norwegian traditional meals and overnight in the quality tent with amazing views, it was a super luxury. Experienced all kinds of weather. I just can’t explain enough how wonderful the trip was. You have to experience yourself.
Quality trip with good price.
It is highly recommended for solo travelers or groups. I think I will join this trip again with my family sometime in the near future.
