In the heart of Canada’s Coast Mountains, deep in the Upper Callaghan Basin at 4,500 ft (1,370 m) above sea level, the slopes are sublime, and the views are breathtaking. If you’re looking to spoil yourself with an easily-accessed lodge-based ski touring trip this winter, Journeyman Lodge is the place to be!

Things to know

  • 57hours is committed to providing safe outdoor adventure experiences. We require all guides using our platform to have a COVID-19 safety plan and to make the details of that plan accessible to travelers. In most cases, group sizes will be reduced, guides will avoid overcrowded locations, and other safety measures will be met depending on the location and activity.

We also expect clients to respect local regulations and take measures to protect themselves, guides, and the communities they’re traveling to. For more information on COVID-19 measures in Journeyman Lodge, British Columbia, please refer to the British Columbia Provincial Government and Tourism Whistler websites.

Follow the main route for about 8.5 km. Immediately before the entrance to Whistler Olympic Park, you will see your guides’ banner on your left. Turn left, cross over a bridge and follow the signs into the staging area. From there, a snowcat will transfer you to the lodge where you will spend the next 4-5 days.

  • An $820 deposit is due upon Booking. Full payment is due hundred (100) days prior to the trip. If the trip should extend beyond the scheduled days for any reason, such as a higher commitment grade or bad weather, the extra days will cost $610 per day. This cost will be spread over the members of the group.

The guiding company reserves the right to modify or cancel any trip or course at any time due to unfavorable weather conditions, injury/ illness, or other reason without penalty. Clients will be notified as soon as possible. Cancellations initiated by the guiding company due to unforeseen circumstances (lodge closures, highway closures, extreme weather events, etc.) are refundable less any sunk costs.
