In order to participate in this moderately strenuous guided hiking and camping tour of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, you need to be fit and have a bit of hiking experience. You can expect to spend up to 6 hours per day hiking (up to 10 miles / 16 km and 2,500 ft elevation change) while carrying daypacks with water and snacks. Shorter hikes will sometimes be available instead of more challenging hikes in case you would like them. July in Yellowstone and Grand Teton NPs can be warm and dry in the day, but cold in the evenings.
A tent, sleeping pad, and group camping equipment will be provided by your guiding service.

Luggage consisting of 1 small suitcase per person can be left in the vehicle. Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

To get to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, you’ll fly into Jackson Hole Airport, about 15 minutes away from Jackson, Wyoming, where you’ll meet your group and guide on the first day. From there, you can rent a car, take a shuttle service, or get a taxi.
You’ll want to pick a flight that arrives before 12 pm MST on the first day. Alternatively, your guiding service can collect you from your accommodation in Jackson at around 11:15 am if you’ve arrived early.The guide will choose the appropriate terrain dependent on conditions and the ability of the group.
At the end of your trip, your guide will drop you off back at Jackson Hole Airport at 12 pm for your flight home (or back at your accommodation in Jackson if you’re staying on).
The deposit of $1,035 per person is due at booking. It takes a minimum of 4 people for this tour to operate. Once the trip is confirmed by the guide, the cancellation policy stated below applies. The remaining amount is paid 3 months (90 days) prior to departure.
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trip start date will receive a refund, less a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of a trip start date will receive no refund.
Participants exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, who receive a positive test result, or who have had direct exposure to a positive case within 14 days of a trip’s departure will be asked to postpone their booking to a later date (additional fees may apply).
Good Trip Adventures monitors the communities they visit. Should any situations arise which they consider detrimental to group safety, a trip departure may be canceled or postponed. In the event of such a cancellation, full or partial refunds or trip credits will be offered.
Good Trip Adventures is not responsible for the cost of any flight changes or additional travel expenses if a participant is requested to change trip dates for safety reasons. Depending on current travel restrictions, participants may be asked to provide a negative COVID test upon arrival for a trip.
