You will need to be able to hike and bike between three and eight hours, depending on the itinerary you choose. After booking, your guide will determine the group’s skill level and capabilities and cater the day to your specific abilities. Keep in mind, opting for the full-day option means more hikes and more biking, which is strenuous even if you stay on beginner-level trails.
We booked a half-day hike and bike tour with ZGH. Mark was our tour guide and we cannot say enough amazing things about him. This was our first trip to Zion and Mark made sure that we saw as much as the park possible in our time frame. The hike we went on was perfect. Mark was so knowledgeable of the area and the trail, we definitely felt safe and informed the whole trip. For the biking tour, Mark was super helpful with teaching me how to change the gears to make the ride easier and stopping when we needed to take a break. Mark showed us beautiful spots within the park and gave us amazing restaurant recommendations in the town. Mark was more than willing to take pictures of us and also show us really great photo opportunity spots while on our hike. We will definitely be rebooking with Mark for another tour.
