Children as young as 10 are able to go on trips with a legal guardian. You can also fly into Denver International Airport and take a direct local flight to Moab, or take a local flight to Grand Junction Colorado Airport and rent a car or take a shuttle for a 2-hour drive to Moab. Once you and your guide agree on the details of your itinerary, your guide will suggest the best place to meet, whether that’s at the guide shop in Moab or a predetermined location.

Dead Horse Point 1/2 Day

We rode this on July 30 and it was great. Mike with Rim Tours did an excellent job as our guide. He is very knowledgeable and encouraging. The four of us had varying levels of age and experience, and Mike was able to give each of us some tips and tricks to make us better riders. The Santa Cruz bikes were also great. We would definitely do this again.

Dead Horse Point MTB Tour

Our group of 4 did this tour on May 30th and it was amazing! Noel and Beth were our guides and they were extremely knowledgeable and patient. The entire group consisted of 8 riders with different skill levels and that was not an issue. 1/2 way through the tour they offered to split the group in 2 and that was perfect as our group of 4 was running out of steam. The bikes provided were excellent and in top shape, full suspension, and easy to ride. Beth and Noel went through all the bike’s features, prior to commencing the ride for those who were less experienced or unfamiliar. Absolutely a great tour, with fun people in a beautiful location! I highly recommend this tour with Rim Tour Guides. Keep up the good work!

Great way to experience Moab mountain biking

As mountain bike trails go, this one is pretty easy and the scenery is gorgeous. As a mid-fifties intermediate mountain biker, I found it to be one of the most enjoyable rides of my life.
That said, there are a few fairly steep sections that require the rider to either lean way far forward (going up) or get well behind the seat post (going down) and are pretty challenging for riders who aren’t in good shape. The guide (Beth) was great, helping the inexperienced riders through the occasional rough patch while allowing the more experienced riders to take more challenging paths. The bikes are great too, being Santa Cruz carbon full-suspension models in great condition.
